Nuffield Scholarships
The Trehane Trust sponsors scholarships through the Nuffield Farming Scholarship Trust (NFST) every year to people between 25 and 45 years old who wish to study a subject of interest to them and of relevance the UK dairy industry.
Applicants are welcome from all parts of the supply chain and ancillary industries.
No formal qualifications are required. The key requirements from applicants are enthusiasm, ambition and a passion for the industry.
Next-Gen Dairy Scholarship
The Trehane Trust has invested in the Nuffield Farming Trust’s Next Gen scheme and is inviting 18-24 year old dairy enthusiasts to apply for a scholarship. Applications close 31 January 2025.
Trehane Trust Fellowships
The Trehane Trust awards fellowships to address specific challenges faced by the dairy industry, and particularly dairy farmers.
These fellowships are open to individuals or joint applications, and applications are invited to those meeting the criteria set out by the Trust. Two fellowships have been awarded since 2018. New fellowships are announced nationally, through the press, website and social media.
